Will it happen in 2010?

One door closes and another door opens

With JT moving on, the band land very much on their collective feet with new drummer, Paul Jones. After just one rehearsal in KC's shed the band were keen to gig again, only to discover that Jonesy plans to travel around Australia for a couple of years and will be leaving in January!! Diaries are pulled and schedules scoured and there is only one date when everyone is available.
The venue - The River Bar, in front of an audience of E&Y staff and music industry types and hangers on supporting a local charity. The Quo kindly donate an autographed drum skin, which is knocked down for £500. Over £1,600 is raised in total. Jonesy fits in really well and a good time is had by all.
First set: How Come, Debris, Kushtey Rye, People Are Strange, Nobody Knows You When You're Down And Out, The Weight.
Second Set: Feel Like Making Love, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Place Your Hands, Blue Moon of Kentucky, Back In The USSR, London Calling, One For The Road, Ooh La La, You're So Rude, Instant Karma, Last Train To Clarkesville, These Boots Are Made For Walking.
Encores: How Come and Place Your Hands.

The Spring Tour

The mini-tour gets off to a good start at The Plough for another appearance at Tunnel Vision. The set is a mix of old and new.
People Are Strange, Ooh La La, Debris, Feel LIke Making Love, Won't Get Fooled Again, Back In The USSR, One For The Road, London Calling, Place Your Hands.
The tour closes at The Aldersbrook Bowls Club the following week and is no one's idea of a fun gig despite having some old friends in the audience and getting paid!

Comic Relief 2009

As strange as it sounds and, indeed, as bizarre it was on the night, the band are Roy Walker's house band for the night in February.

Some nice professional photos too. Courtesy of E&Y.

It's been a while

Oh dear, has it really been a year since our last post? What with G touring with the mighty Status Quo and saying farewell to JT, 2009 proved to be a lull in The Shed Heads story. We will try to pick up where we left off, but first a brief on all things Shed Heads.
