The Plonkheads
.
On Saturday 2 June Shed Heads perform at The Richard House Summer Festival. With new drummer - John Turle and Bill Smith as guest percussionist the band run through a short set of songs in tribute to the late great Ronnie Lane. K and G do a great job switching between assorted guitars, mandolins and banjos. The songs go down really well with the crowd. The band are surprised by how many Ronnie Lane fans have come along to cheer on the band. What was thought of as a one-off gig may, schedules permitting, be repeated in a local pub during the summer
Set list: How Come?, Roll On Babe, The Poacher, Debris, You're So Rude, Ooh La La; Kushty Rye, One For The Road and Rene (The Docker's Delight)*
* A Manor Park folk song
